Provided are a document checking method and device. The document checking method comprises: obtaining separately the document structure data of a first document and the document structure data of a second document, the document structure data including at least one of the paragraph data, diagram data, and table data of the document; comparing the document structure data of the first document and the document structure data of the second document, determining whether the first document and the second document are different, and outputting the comparison result. Embodiments of the present invention use document structure data and relevant parameters to compare a first document and a second document, and further determine whether the first document and the second document are different and locate the positions of differences, thereby enhancing document checking efficiency and substantially saving manual labor. |
