PURPOSE:To obtain the titled inhibitor preventing the adhesion of steel materials to each other during annealing by dispersing one or more among titanium oxide, titania sol and titanium alkoxide in an aqueous soln. contg. an org. polymer dispersant. CONSTITUTION:One or more among titanium oxide, titania sol and titanium alkoxide are dispersed in an aqueous soln. contg. an org. polymer dispersant. The resulting aqueous dispersion is coated on steel materials such as cold rolled steel plates or steel wired before annealing. The annealing adhesion inhibitor prevents the adhesion of the steel materials to each other during annealing.
