摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot working method for improving the hot workability of CuNiFe alloy to be used in a magnetic scale. SOLUTION: Cu-Ni-Fe alloy powder having the composition consisting of, by weight, 5-30% Ni, 5-30% Fe, 0.01-0.5% at least one kind of Mn, Al, Ti, Si and Zr as necessary, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities is manufactured by a gas atomizing method, the powder is filled in a metallic container and the container is sealed, and the grain size is controlled to be <=5 &mu;m in a base metal manufactured by the hot extrusion or upset. The Ni/Fe ratio of the base metal manufactured by the hot extrusion or upset is controlled to be 1.02-2.67 at the heating temperature of 800-1000 deg.C.
