The invention relates to a method for producing a radio unit (10), particularly a mobile telephone, wherein an (2), particularly a planar antenna is electrically and mechanically firmly connected to a transmitter and/or a receiver part (1), preferably to the conductor plate thereof (6), the impedance of the antenna (2) is temporarily compensated in a frequency range relevant for the transmission and/or the reception of radio signals and finally the transmitter and/or receiving part (1) is tested, particularly for determining the limits of the sensitivity thereof. As said antenna (2) can be soldered together with other components in one working step, a higher level of rationalisation is achieved when producing radio units (10), resulting in lower production costs.
