PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink capable of recording an image with high optical density regardless of a type of a recording medium as well as maintaining high recording quality even at high-speed recording.SOLUTION: An inkjet aqueous ink includes a self-dispersion pigment treated by ozone oxidation and a monovalent cation. The monovalent cation includes an alkali metal ion and an ammonium ion. The density of the alkali metal ion (mmol/L) is 0.01-1.50 times the density of the ammonium ion (mmol/L) in mole fraction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
