PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system and an image processing method with which prints having good quality can be obtained in printing a specific document on a book.SOLUTION: A document image reading part 202 reads an image for one page of a document on a book from among the document. A document image collation part 203 collates a read image of the read document with registered images of the document stored in advance in a server 107, and searches for the presence of a registered image matching with the read image. A document image acquisition part 204, when the registered image matching with the read image exists, acquires the registered image.
