PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a card reader which certifies an ID card for individual certification to quickly and easily store information necessary for the certification of an ID card. SOLUTION: This entrance/exit management method for opening and closing the entrance/exit of a floor arranged adjacently to a card reader comprises a process for transmitting a text for ID card certification constituted of the serial numbers of an ID card 1 and a date/time zone code related with the serial numbers from a host computer 2 to a card reader in which a date/time zone table constituted of passage validity/invalidity information for judging the validity/invalidity of the passage of the entrance/exit of the floor and a date/time zone code corresponding to the passage validity/invalidity information is preliminarily stored in a storage part 16, and a process for relating the text transmitted from the host computer 2 to the card reader with the date/time zone table through the date time zone code by a control part 17, and for allowing the storage part 16 of the card reader to store this. |
