PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the accuracy of a press forming surface by providing a reference line or plane paralleling with the plane of a surface plate to a thermal spraying medel and correcting the deformation arising to the thermal spraying model with said line or plane as a reference. CONSTITUTION:A stage for transferring and reproducing a thermal spraying model 7 from a starting model 1, a stage for providing, for example, a reference line 21 paralleling with the plane of a surface plate 2 to the model 7, a stage for forming the thermally sprayed metallic layer 9 of the model 7, a stage for clamping and fixing the model 7 having the layer 9 onto the plate 2 in such a way that the reference line 21 parallels with the plane of the plate 2 and a stage for lining on the layer 9 are combined. A simple press die having the layer 9 on the press forming surface is thus manufactured. |
