PURPOSE:To obtain a fungicidal composition extremely effective against rice blast by synergistic effect by combinedly using a specific amide compound and methoxyiminoacetic amide compound. CONSTITUTION:This fungicidal composition extremely effective in controlling rice blast is obtained by combinedly using an amide compound expressed by formula I (X is H or Cl; Y is Cl or Br; R is methyl or vinyl) and methoxyiminoacetic acid amide expressed by formula II. In the composition, a mixed weight ratio of the compound of formula I to the compound of formula II is preferably in a range of l:(0.1-100), especially 1:(0.1-10). The compound of formula 1 includes, e.g. a compound of formula III, a compound of formula IV, a compound of formula V, a compound of formula VI or a compound of formula VII. The fungicidal composition is not effective in controlling only rice blast, but effective also in controlling various kinds of plant diseases including other rice diseases such as sheath blight and Helminthosporium leaf spot. |
