PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce the sound of respective channels without the decline of presence by detecting a terminal not connected to a speaker and automatically distributing signals supplied there to one of the remaining terminals. SOLUTION: A sensor 31 detects the connection of the output terminal 25C of a center speaker C and sends the signals to a control part 32. At the time, when detection signals indicate non-connection, the control part 32 sends disable signals to a mute circuit 33. Also, when connection is indicated, enable signals are supplied to the circuit 33. Then, at the time of reproducing a recording medium provided with the sound signals of 6 channels, when the terminal of the speaker C is not connected to the terminal 25C for some reason, reproducing sound is not outputted from the speaker C. Even in this case, by the non- connection detection of the sensor 31, the circuit 33 is set to disable by the control part 32. Thus, since the sound signals to be reproduced by the speaker C are distributed to the other speaker, the presence is not substantially lowered and a situation that the sound of a specified channel is not reproduced at all is prevented. |
