PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in a case when a refrigerant gas leaks in an indoor unit, the leaking refrigerant gas locally accumulates in a certain part of an indoor space.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes an indoor unit having an upper supply opening and a lower supply opening, uses a combustible refrigerant, and further includes a shutter disposed on the lower supply opening and switching a supply state in which the air can be supplied, and a non-supply state in which the air cannot be supplied, a refrigerant gas detection sensor disposed in the indoor unit, and a control portion for controlling the shutter. The control portion switches the lower supply opening from the non-supply state to the supply state, when the refrigerant gas is detected by the refrigerant gas detection sensor in an operating state in which the lower supply opening is in the non-supply state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
