PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging apparatus control method which reduce contrast deterioration due to excessive correction in a digital dodging process.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 200 comprises: imaging means 201 which images a subject and outputs image data; calculation means which calculates a gain on the basis of the image data and a result of comparing first image data imaged in a first state by strobe means 208 for projecting light at the time of imaging by the imaging means with second image data imaged in a second state by the strobe means; and image processing means 203 which applies the gain calculated by the calculation means to the image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
