PURPOSE:To easily perform photographing which provides pan-focus effects without limiting a focal position by providing an image-pickup signal extracting means which extracts the image-pickup signal from an image-pickup element, and a storing means which stores the image pickup signal extracted by the extracting means in a storage position corresponding to the image-pickup area. CONSTITUTION:When picture signals of one screen from a CCD image sensor 19 is completely outputted, AF control of a focus area F2 in a second image- pickup area A2 is performed. Namely, a focus area control part 29 reads CCD scanning coordinate data in the second focus area F2 previously stored in a focus area data storage part 33, and gives it to a AF control part 24. Then, the AF control part 24 performs automatic focusing control based on the CCD picture signal, a lens driving part 23 moves a image-pickup lens, and focuses a plant image as a closer object. Thereby, without limiting the object focusing position, photographing which provides pan-focus effects is easily performed. |
