PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and quality of a seal ring by lowering the corotating rate of the seal ring and one member in a sealing device. SOLUTION: Oil is led to a sliding face 21 by communicating grooves 41, and oil is circumferentially led by a circumferential groove 42 communicating the communicating grooves 41 circumferentially. Oil is further spread all over the sliding face 21 by fluid retaining grooves 43 to form an oil film, a fluid film. The fluid retaining groove 43 displays its function by flowing to either one of the circumferntial groove 42 and the oil side, but is desirable to flow to both in order to heighten flowability of oil in the fluid retaining groove 43 to improve cooling effect. As a result, the corotating rate of a seal ring and one member is prevented from becoming high, and the deviation of sliding with the other member is prevented so as to improve durability and quality. |
