PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device which can reduce power consumption while surely holding a post-processing unit at a post-processing stop position and has high productivity.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device performs post-processing on a conveyed sheet by moving a post-processing unit by a pulse motor. The pulse motor is driven in the one-or-two phase exciting system and displaces the post-processing unit between a prescribed stand-by position and a post-processing position for performing post-processing. A control part detects an end of the conveyed sheet (S23) when the post-processing unit is moved to the post-processing position (S22), detects information on control of the pulse motor at the time of detecting the end, and stops the post-processing unit at the determined post-processing position on the basis of the detection result (S24-S27). The post-processing position is determined so that power determining the holding force of the pulse motor at the post-processing position always becomes small power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18 |
