PURPOSE:To reproduce a natural color without generating color shift even in the reproduction of black line drawing by using at least a part of the color forming components contained in a transparent color forming single layer in an encapsulated state. CONSTITUTION:A cyan color forming layer, a magenta color forming layer and an yellow color forming layer are successively provided to one surface of a transparent support and a black color forming layer is provided to the other surface of the support. Then, a color forming component is contained at least in a three-layer transparent color forming single layer other than the remotest layer on a recording image looking side. The material to be used is a component generating color forming reaction based on the contact with a substance due to heating, concretely, a combination of an acidic substance and an electron donating dye precursor, a combination of an azo compound and a coupling compound or other additive. At least the electron donating dye precursor or diazo compound among those components is encapsulated from the aspects of the enhancement of transparency, raw preservability (fog prevention) and the control of color forming sensitivity before use. |
