<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high unidirectional communication speed by having only to install a high speed processing unit on a communication path in the case that a communication path between computers include a block with a large transmission delay. SOLUTION: A TCP communication high speed processing unit 10 for asymmetrical lines is placed at a position on a transmission line between computers 1, 2 making communication with a communication protocol having flow control such as the TCP, where a transmission delay with the computer 1 is smaller than that with the computer 2. The high speed processing unit 10 uses a packet transmission reception means between the computers 1 and 2 to send/receive a packet. Data packets sent from the computer 1 are transferred to the computer 2 in excess of maximum reception data amounts informed of by the computer 2, the data packets sent from the computer 2 are transferred to the computer 1 and ACK packets sent from the computer 2 are not transferred to the computer 1. Furthermore, the high speed processing unit 10 uses an ACK packet generating means to generate an ACK packet with respect to the data packet sent from the computer 1 on behalf of the computer 2 and sends the ACK packet to the computer 1.</p> |
