PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ablate deep tissues in an organ having a wide lumen such as a gal bladder by fixing the base end of an electrode, the section of which is flat, to the tip of an external sheath, fixing the tip of the electrode to an internal sheath and advancing and withdrawing axially with the internal sheath projected beyond the tip of the external sheath. SOLUTION: After an insertion portion 2 is inserted into a lumen through an endoscope channel or the like, when the slider 15 of an operating portion 1 is operated, and the tip of an internal sheath 5 is moved toward the tip of an external sheath 3 through an operating wire 8, an incision wire 6 of a flat section as an electrode, the base end of which is fixed to the tip of the external sheath 3 and the other end is fixed to the internal sheath 5, bends outwardly. After the vicinity of this incision wire 6 is brought closer to a lesion, by rotating that around the axis of the insertion portion 2, the incision wire 6 is butted against the root of the lesion. In this state, the legion is ablated by rotating the insertion portion 2 while supplying current to the incision wire 6 from a high frequency power supply. |
