<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium high in durability and small in amt. of lubricant oozing out under various environments, by forming a magnetic layer consisting essentially of a magnetic material, binder, and an ester compd. contg. an epoxy group. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic layer consisting essentially of a magnetic material, such as gamma-Fe2O3, gamma-Fe2O3 contg. Co, or Fe3O4, binder, such as polyester or PVC, and an ester compd. contg. an epoxy group, such as distearyl-4,5-epoxycyclohexane-1,2-dicarboxylate. As a result, the obtained magnetic recording material has high durability, and oozes out a small amt. of lubricant under a variety of environments.</p> |
