PURPOSE:To obtain a sintered body having high strength in high temperatures, excellent in oxidation resistance by sintering a mixture incorporating a prescribed ratio of silicon nitride (Si3N4) particles, rare earth element oxide particles and spinel (MgAl2O4) particles at a prescribed condition. CONSTITUTION:91.5-96.99wt.% of Si3N4 particles, 3-8wt.% of rare earth element oxide particles and 0.01-0.5wt.% of MgAl2O4 particles are mixed. After molding this mixture, the mold is sintered at the temp. of 1700-1850 deg.C in non-oxidizable atmosphere of normal pressure. |
