PURPOSE:To obtain a section sorting device which can jog ends of sections and separate the sections without being crumpled or damaged if the sections are thin in thickness and weak in nerve. CONSTITUTION:In a section sorting device, a bundle of sections 12 is erectly loaded on a first table 10 and a second table 11, respectively. In this state, the second table 11 is separated sideward to form a gap between the sections 12 on the second table 11 and the sections 12 on the first table 10. A separating means 13 is intruded into the gap. The sections on the first table 10 are supported by a belt 19. The sections on the second table 11 are supported by a belt 22. When the belts 19, 22 are rising while supporting the sections 12, the sections 12 are not subjected to a pulling-up force, thus being prevented from falling or being damaged. |
