摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloy for a magnetic head having high saturation magnetic flux density and also low in coercive force and to provide a magnetic head using the same. SOLUTION: By adding Mn alone or Mn and V in combination to an Fe-Si binary alloy, the material having saturation magnetic flux density (BS) of >=14,000 G and coercive force (Hc) of <=0.1 Oe is obtained.
