<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer belt device where the speed fluctuation of a transfer belt and the looseness of the transfer belt part on a downstream side in a belt advancing direction from the transferring part of a toner image to the transfer belt, which should be regarded as trouble, are solved only by adjusting the circumferential speed of a belt driving roller and which transfers the toner image on an electrostatic latent image carrier on the transfer belt without inconvenience such as deviation and an irregularity. SOLUTION: This device is the transfer belt device 1 provided with a roller group incorporating a primary transfer roller 13 and a belt driving roller 11 and an endless transfer belt 10 wound around the roller group. The transfer belt 10 is brought into contact with a photoreceptive drum 2 by the transfer roller 13, so that the toner image formed on the photoreceptive drum 2 is transferred. The surface of the hard core roller 111 of the driving roller 11 is coated with a rubber layer 112 whose thickness is <=1mm, and is arranged on the downstream side of the transfer roller 13 in the belt advancing direction.</p> |
