<p>The invention relates to electrical equipment for a car. The inventive protection device comprises fuses provided with fuse strips and a plastic fuse receptacle fitted with spring contact sockets bunched by pairs. A unit indicating when the fuse is blown arranged under each fuse. Said unit comprises series connected light-emitting diodes and a current-limiting resistor. In a particular embodiment, the contact sockets for each fuse are spatially separated from each other with the aid of a cavity made in a body for arranging the unit indicating that a fuse has blown. Unconsolidated out put electrodes of the light-emitting diodes and the current-limiting resistor are connected to spring metallic plates which are passed through clearances between the body of the fuse receptacle and the contact sockets thereby enabling the out put electrodes to be electrically connected to the contact sockets. The inventive protection device makes it possible to locate a blown fuse in a quick and unambiguous manner without increasing the dimensions of said device and dispensing with the use of additional electric conductors.</p> |
