PURPOSE: A static electricity preventing device of a clothing drying machine is provided to minimize the generation of the static electricity while drying clothing, thereby making the use of the drying machine pleasant. CONSTITUTION: A static electricity preventing device of a clothing drying machine includes a ground element(80) contacting a drum(60) and simultaneously ground to the outside for reducing the static electricity in a case, the ground element having a conductive element(81) formed of a plate spring fixed in the case and contacting an outer peripheral surface of the drum and a grounding wire(88) connected from the conductive element to the outside of the case, a controller(53) mounted at a side of the case for controlling the clothing drying machine, and a wire(54) positioned between the controller and the ground element for the grounding of the controller via the ground element.
