<p>The dust-seal and a draught-excluder is for utilization over the chain hole of the box housing the drum of a rollerblind. The hole is traversed by the chain (5), chains or cables which are used to manipulate the blind. The seal comprises two opposed row (12, 15) of bristles with the free ends of the bristles in the respective rows making contact. The construction allows the chain (5) to pass through the joint (13) between the two rows (12, 15) of the bristles. The seal may be set in a plastic plate (10) with a rectangular opening and with the two rows (12, 15) of the bristles cantilevering in from the two long sides (11, 14) of the opening. The bristle roots may be fixed encastre' or by locating in the interface of two laminates bonded together by their major faces. A layer of adhesive may be provided on one face of the plate.</p> |
