PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and an image forming method by which density adjustment processing can be performed in proper timing. SOLUTION: While a printing mode is not changed, the density adjustment processing is not started as usual unless a density adjustment start condition (fatigue evaluation value is equal to or over a fatigue threshold) is not satisfied. When the printing mode is changed, the density adjustment processing is immediately started. Due to that, since the density is adjusted before a toner image is formed in the printing mode after being changed, the toner image can be always formed on an excellent image forming condition. |
