<p>The HIV-2-type retroviruses of primates HIV-2ben and mutants and derivatives thereof are provided. These viruses are a source for the isolation of proteins p18, p24, the reverse transcriptase, and of proteins gp130 and gp160. The viruses, their proteins, and corresponding monoclonal antibodies can be used for the preparation of vaccines, diagnostic and pharmaceutical compositions.</p> |
