MANY-TIME USABLE THERMAL TRANSFER INK SHEET

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer ink sheet imparting high printing density and susceptible to many-time printing by providing a many-time transfer ink layer based on a hot-melt substance and carbon black with oil absorbancy of 70ml/100g or less on a base material. CONSTITUTION:A hot-melt substance and carbon black with oil absorbancy of 70ml/100g or less are respectively dissolved and dispersed in an org. solvent in predetermined amounts to prepare a coating solution for forming an ink layer. This coating solution is applied to a base material such as a plastic film by a roll coater or the like and dried to form a many-time transfer ink layer to obtain a thermal transfer ink sheet usable many times. The amount of carbon black contained in the ink layer is prerf. 30-60wt.%, more pref. 40-60wt.%. The hot-melt substance consists of a hot-melt resin and a waxy substance and the wt. ratio of the hot-melt resin and the waxy substance is pref. 1:0.2-4.
