PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional information inputting camera which causes no input error of three-dimensional information. SOLUTION: This three-dimensional information inputting camera is provided with an image sensing means to photograph a photographing area, and a projecting means to project a patterned light to the photographing area. A projection pattern which is formed on an object within the photographing area by the patterned light projected by the projecting means is photographed by the photographing means. Further, it is also provided with a means for transmitting a limit condition which transmits an information relating the limit condition to allow a three-dimensional information to be obtained by means of the projection of the patterned light.
