PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of maintaining gradation of image data and performing position correction even with a simple hardware configuration.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus performs compression processing of an image of a processing object, and generates compressed data B12, B13, B14 of each input image B11 having a prescribed first size constituting the image of the processing object. The image processing apparatus determines whether to be a high resolution part or a low resolution part in each area of the input image B11. The image processing apparatus discriminates respective gradation of pixels belonging to high resolution parts, and determines the maximum gradation and the minimum gradation in the input image. The image processing apparatus patterns each of the high resolution parts to a prescribed shape pattern on the basis of the gradation and arrangement states of pixels included in the area. The image processing apparatus generates compressed data B12, B13, B14 about the input image B11 on the basis of information corresponding to the maximum gradation and the minimum gradation, and a code corresponding to the shape pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
