The present invention relates to a friction welding method using a friction welding tool, comprising: a welding basic material aligning step of tightly attaching welding portions of a first base member and a second base member to be welded; a melting supplement part installing step of installing a melting supplement part on the welding portions of the first base member and the second base member whey the welding portions are melted due to rotation of the friction welding tool; and a friction welding step of causing a tool pin smaller than a diameter of the friction welding tool at the center of a lower end portion of the friction welding tool to be drawn into the first and second base members melted due to frictional heat between the welding portions and causing a lower surface of the friction welding tool to melt upper surfaces of the welding portions of the first and second base members and the melting supplement part to weld the first and second base members. According to the friction welding method using a friction welding tool of the present invention, when welding is performed by the friction welding tool, generation of a transfer trace of the friction welding tool is prevented. |
