PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card with an improved forgery prevention effect which has an identification body where ID peculiar information is recorded, on the card surface. SOLUTION: With respect to the IC card with an improved forgery prevention effect, an IC chip having a memory and an identification body 13 made of a ferromagnetic material foil are provided on an IC card base material, and ID peculiar information is recorded in the identification body, and the same ID peculiar information as recorded information is stored in the memory of the IC chip. An amorphous ferromagnetic material can be used as the ferromagnetic material 13a, and the IC card can have a magnetic stripe 14 for magnetic recording, and a hologram layer 13h can be provided on the surface of the identification body made of the ferromagnetic foil. |
