<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing a wiring box, which fixes a wiring box to a predetermined mounting position on an installation surface or adjacent to the planned mounting position in a predetermined direction even if the positions of bonding holes formed on the installation surface are shifted from proper points. <P>SOLUTION: The method for installing the wiring box forms a box bonding hole 2 on a rear plate 11 of a symmetrical rectangular box body 1 where wiring tools are held inside, forms a bonding hole 4 where a mounting screw is bonded to the installation surface 3, and bonds the mounting screw to the bonding hole 4 through the box bonding hole 2 with a rear surface of the rear plate 11 opposed to the installation surface 3, thereby bonding the box body 1 to the installation surface 3, wherein a longitudinal box bonding hole 2b and a laterally long bonding hole 2a are provided at a position of the rear plate 11 that is dot symmetrical relative to the central section of the rear plate 11, the bonding hole 4 is made in the planned drilling mounting position 6 of the bonding hole 4 or in the vicinity thereof, the upward/downward directions of the box body 1 are suitably selected, and the box body 1 is bonded to the planned mounting position 5 or a position as near the planned mounting position 5 as possible and bonded to the installation surface 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
