PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability concerning the disconnection of a loop antenna in a noncontact IC card. SOLUTION: An IC module 51 in the IC card is constituted by forming the loop antenna 70 on the upper surface of a baseboard 60 and mounting an IC chip 80. Dummy patterns 90, 91, 92 and 93 for reinforcing the loop antenna are arranged along the corner part 74 of the loop antenna 70. The start end part 71c and the terminal end part 73f of the antenna 70 have a tapered shape, where a width is gradually changed to be narrower toward a tip. The loop antenna is bent into a connecting part 71d between an end part and a side part. The concentration of stress is avoided in the tapered parts 71c, the part 73f and the bent part 71d, etc. |
