摘要

PURPOSE: To provide an image receiving base material having an image receiving surface layer made writable by ink containing a water-soluble dye and excellent in quick drying properties and water resistance. CONSTITUTION: An image receiving base material is obtained by providing an image receiving surface layer containing a water-soluble dye on a substrate and the image receiving surface layer contains a compd. having a quaternary ammonium salt group having three alkyl groups wherein the total number of carbon atoms are 4 or more, and a carboxyl group. At least one of those compds. is a monomer having an ethylenic unsaturated reactive group and the image receiving surface layer is formed by curing the coating film of the monomer by radiation.
