PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film roll of a good winding shape by estimating and controlling the winding shape from a thickness profile measured value. SOLUTION: The thickness distribution in the width direction of the film roll of a stretched film wound in the shape of a roll is measured. The winding shape is estimated from the integral data, and the feedback quantity of thickness profile adjustment is optimized by the estimated value of the winding shape.
