PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain airbag which can control the forward displacement of the rear end side of an expansion shielding part during the time of the early stage of developing expansion even if a rear end mounting piece part is combined with the expansion shielding part by means of sewing.SOLUTION: The curtain airbag includes an expansion shielding part 22 which, by making inflation gas flow in, expands tabularly so as to cover the interior side of vehicle windows and a mounting piece part with a mounting hole for mounting to a vehicle body a plurality of which are arranged at a superior border 33 side of the expansion shielding part. A rear end mounting piece part 64 is combined, by means of sewing, with a superior border side part 34 of the expansion shielding part at a more anterior position than a trailing edge 26a of an inflow part 23 into which the inflation gas of the expansion shielding part is made to flow. The rear end mounting piece part 64, as a form in which a trailing edge 67 extends slanting backward from a rear end 66b of a superior border 66 of the rear end mounting piece part, arranges a rear end 72a of a sewing part 72 to the expansion shielding part at a position more rearward than the rear end 66b of the superior border 66 and above the trailing edge 26a of the inflow part 23 of the inflation gas in the expansion shielding part. |
