PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication network system that can attain a long distance transmission by simplify its system configuration and reduce the cost of the entire network. SOLUTION: A router (1) (3-a) and a photoelectric converter A (1000-a) provided with an optical interface capable of performing long distance transmission are installed to a subscriber's home A. Furthermore, the network is configured such that a line concentrator A (60) that concentrates routers (1)-(3) (3-a, 3-b and 3-c) of subscriber's homes A, B and C, a line concentrator C (80) that concentrates routers (7)-(9) (3-g, 3-h and 3-i) of subscriber's homes G, H and I and a line concentrator D (90) that concentrates routers (1)-(3) (3-j, 3-k and 3-l) of subscriber's homes J, K and L are connected between relay points and contained in a router A (10) via a photoelectric converter G (1000-g). |
