PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably obtain an excellent color image by preventing the rate of toner having a large particle diameter in a developing device from getting large in a color image forming device where development is successively performed by plural developing devices held by a rotating supporting body. SOLUTION: In this developing device, the amount of the toner is regulated by bringing a regulating member 28 into contact with the surface of a toner carrier 21 in the middle of carrying the toner (t) to a developing area opposed to an image carrier P by the toner carrier 21. The developing device is provided with a partitioning member 22 having an aperture part 22a in a device main body 20 so as to separate a toner storage part 23 storing the toner from a toner supply part 24 supplying the toner to the toner carrier, and provided with a valve member 25 opening the aperture part only in the case of supplying the toner from the toner storage part to the toner supply part at the aperture part. Then, the developing device is held by the rotating supporting body 40 of the color image forming device. |
