PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation or damage of a frame and stopper due to collision of a locking member provided on a seat cushion side by fixedly mounting the stopper provided in a seatback to the frame. SOLUTION: A stopper 1 is fixed to a frame 2 in a seatback SB. A panel 21 for supporting a foam pad 22 is welded to the frame 2. The stopper 1 is formed by bending a wire into a substantially U-shape and embedded in the pad 22 of the seatback SB. Further, the stopper 1 is covered with a cover 23 together with the pad 22. On the other hand, a locking member 31 is disposed at the rear bottom face side of the seat cushion SC and the seat cushion SC is energized in the folding direction by a spring 31A. Thus, the seat cushion SC is locked so that it does not leap up even when an upward impact load is applied in a collision and the locking member 31 abuts indirectly to the stopper 1 in the seatback SB. Therefore, deformation of the stopper 1 can be prevented.
