<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional multihop wireless LAN that alteration of frequency channel or path is required when the quality degrades due to a single path or the transfer rate decreases due to path congestion of other traffic, and a sufficient transfer rate may not be attained even when the frequency channel or path is altered. <P>SOLUTION: A multihop wireless LAN system for transmitting traffic where any one of a plurality of terminals constituting a wireless LAN is the transmission node of traffic source, destination terminal of traffic is the reception node, and a plurality of other terminals or base stations are the base station nodes for relaying traffic from the transmission node to the reception node is further provided with a branch relay base station node for setting a plurality of MAC transfer paths and distributing traffic from the transmission node to different multihop wireless paths, respectively, and a convergence relay base station node for reproducing traffic from different wireless paths by bundling in the MAC layer and transmitting it to the reception node. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
