PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform intuitive photographing by selecting a desired zoom magnification, without having to turn the eyes away from a subject. SOLUTION: A camera 1 with a zoom which has an electronic zoom or motor-driven zoom is disclosed, wherein the camera 1 with the zoom equipped with a zoom operation means of varying the zoom magnification of the electronic zoom or motor-driven zoom is such that the zoom operation means 6 has operation positions that are made to uniquely correspond to the zoom magnifications.
