PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel oil that achieves a reduction in the amount of environmental load substances such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide and the like exhausted by consumption of a fuel oil and a reduction in fuel cost while taking advantage of a characteristic of fossil fuel comprising light oil, kerosene or heavy oil and causes no problems in the conventional water-added fuel such as oil/water separation, decrease of a calorific value and rust development of an automobile engine, a boiler and auxiliary facility thereof and the like.SOLUTION: The fuel oil includes 40 to 70 pts.vol. of a fuel base oil comprising light oil, kerosene or heavy oil, 35 to 20 pts.vol. of a 16C or more higher unsaturated fatty acid and 25 to 10 pts.vol. of methanol. The 16C or more higher unsaturated fatty acid preferably includes an oleic acid or an oleic acid and a linoleic oil.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
