PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner, having an air cleaning function which is fully practical for cleaning contaminated air in a room. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with an air-cleaning filter 5 and a blower 6, both of which are used for dust collection and deodorization on the air passage 4 connecting an air inlet 2 formed from the front face to the top face of the body enclosure 1 of the air conditioner to an air outlet 3, formed in the lower part of the enclosure 1 and a heat exchanger 7 between the filter 5 and a blower 6. The air inlet 2 of the enclosure 1 is constituted of a air inlet 2a and an auxiliary air inlet 2c, and the filter 5 is positioned to an auxiliary air inlet 2c. In addition, the air inlet 2a is formed freely openable. |
