PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good adhesiveness between an object to be transferred and a surface receiving the transferred object, and prevent a damage of a surface painted out of a surface of an object to be transferred by excessive transfer strength during peeling operation of a base material sheet in transfer operation of an image receiving layer accompanying the image for the object to be transferred. SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive transfer recording sheet A is provided with a peelable heat-sensitive transfer image layer 2 based on a pigment and a resin on a single surface of its base material sheet 1. The image layer 2 is superposed on an image receiving layer 13 of an intermediate transfer sheet B which builds up at least a peeling protection layer 12 and an image receiving layer 13 in this order on a single surface of a supporting body 11, and heated for transfer. Thus, a transferred image 14 is formed on the image receiving layer 13 from the image layer 2. Next, after the image receiving layer 13 of the intermediate transfer sheet B is superposed on a surface of an object C to be transferred and heated for adhesion, the supporting body 11 of the intermediate transfer sheet B is peeled off the peeling protection layer 12. Transfer painting is performed in this arrangement. |
