PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic volume device capable of switching a volume while suppressing occurrence of noise. SOLUTION: In the electronic volume device 100, a gain of an initial value g1 at initial state time t=0 is shifted to a target value g2 at time t=Tp after a certain transition period Tp has passed. A gain control unit 30 controls the gain of an amplifier according to a control function g(t) which satisfies conditions (1) to (3) described below. (1) g(0)=g1, g(Tp)=g2, (2) g'(Tp/2)>g'(0), (3) g'(Tp/2)>g'(Tp), wherein, g'(t) indicates a time derivative of g(t). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
