The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device which is suppressed in display unevenness by being prevented from deterioration of TFT characteristics due to a photo-alignment treatment. A liquid crystal display device according to the present invention comprises a thin film transistor substrate and a liquid crystal layer. The thin film transistor substrate comprises a thin film transistor having a channel etched structure, and an alignment film. The thin film transistor sequentially comprises a gate electrode, a gate insulating film, a channel layer containing an oxide semiconductor, and a pair of source and drain electrodes. The oxide semiconductor contains indium, tin, zinc and oxygen. The alignment film has a photo-functional group. |
