The present invention relates to an earphone with a controller. The earphone of the present invention comprises: a plug including one or more audio terminals, a mike terminal, and an earth terminal; one or more speaker modules; a controller including a switch unit and a control unit; and a special function module. According to the present invention, the special function module performing a special function such as an active noise reduction function receives electric power through the mike terminal, and the control unit detects an operation state of the switch unit to provide a control command to a sound signal output device through the mike terminal. Moreover, a configuration of the sound signal output device is simplified, thereby reducing production costs thereof and the control command can be sent to the sound signal output device through a mike line of a user while power is supplied to the special function module through the mike line. So costs due to the addition of a separate signal line can be reduced. |
