PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage medium and information terminal equipment capable of acquiring data in a simple method. SOLUTION: When a maker which has sold a handy scanner 1 finds and corrects the bug of the application program of the handy scanner 1, the maker prints two-dimensional information code 18 indicating a corrected application program on sheets 19, and transmits the two-dimensional code 18 to a user by an FAX. When the user reads the transmitted two-dimensional information code 18 by the handy scanner 1, the handy scanner 1 updates the read application program. Thus, the application program of the handy scanner 1 can be corrected. |
